Pneumatic Roto Sifter is highly efficient in screening materials at a negative pressures of up to 14” (356 mm) vacuum. The fine mesh screen on the sifter provides a wide range, as the size of the holes span from 0.6 to 10 mm.

How does our Pneumatic Roto Sifter work?

To maximize the performance and output of a screening machine, Pneumatic Roto Sifter was designed as a culmination of a rotary sifter set in a pneumatic conveying system. It combines the properties of centrifugal sifting and a pressurized environment which speeds up the process of de-agglomerating the raw materials and render more output. This also eliminates the necessity of using cyclone separators or rotary airlocks.

With the help of conical pneumatic screening technology, the machine can also easily deal with the foreign objects that might have entered the raw mix and conveniently eliminates them.

When the screening material is introduced into the machine, it directly passes through the inlet shaft which transports it to the cylindrical sifting chamber. Inside the chamber, there are rotating helical paddles that continuously propel the material against the fine screen. These helical paddles also serve another function wherein they break up soft agglomerates and assure a more thorough screening.

Depending on the gradation of your fine mesh, particles that are on-size pass through the screen and are discharged through the cone-shaped chutes. Whereas, oversized particles are eliminated from the machine via an automatic delivery shaft which is situated at the end of the screen basket.
